C4d Dynamics Falling Through Floor
The motext object at left falls to the floor.
C4d dynamics falling through floor. Error increases as more objects have to push each other off one another. If you crank up the iterations or modify the time stepping it may stop falling through but the reason it s falling through is because the simulation can t tell if it was falling from above or below the plane if there is too much error in the simulation. The floor may have wrong mesh orientation. Depending on the individual elements setting the text will collide as a whole as lines as words or as letters.
You re trying to work with objects that have dynamic tags on them and it seems no matter what they keep jittering and falling through the floor. Check the floor collider. D2apdesigns s charles cassels takes a look at some simple solutions for getting rid of the jitter that may occur when creating dynamics in cinema 4d. I then rendered these sequences to get a sense of the movement generated by various forces within c4d.
I ve had a similar problem i created a simple animation where about 500 cubes fall on to a plane at 45 and then fall to a floor object. Initially using keyframes i set up a golden orbited atom as a comparison to the movement generated by cinema s. It depends on how the objects should collide. Independently or as a whole.
The goal was to create a series of simple scenes through which i could experiment with c4d s dynamics settings. This parameter s modes are designed for generators that themselves generate objects such as the motext. Add a box collider to the floor remove the mesh collider and check the result.
