Hi i want to lay ceramic tiles in basement i recently pulled up carpet in basment do to flooding and revealed 9 9 old tiles that im sure contain asbestos that have carpet adhesive on top of tiles my question is can i use cement leveler on parts that tiles are missing so i can lay backer board down and do i need to lay a thinset down before i.
