Can You Screed Over Ceramic Tiles

Hi guys so i am taking the plunge with my floors going to put down vinyl planks over the top of the bad ceramic tiles.

Can you screed over ceramic tiles. The existing tiles should be cleaned thoroughly acid washing degreasing etc to remove all traces of dirt grime polishes and sealants. Any surface contamination will impair the adhesive bond onto the existing tiles and can cause the new tiles to be hollow sounding and or loose. You cannot say it is 3 weeks for all screeds etc the drying time is based on screed depth as above there is a set drying time at 20dgs cel adhere to that and this will make sure a screed is dry.

All that s required is spreading the compound over the prepared tiles. And you can also use a green screed adhesive but for efflorescence reasons i would use the membrane.
