Cant Place Wall On Floor Ark

If that is the case that is a very strange problem your having mate.

Cant place wall on floor ark. It s just me and my friend on a private server we can t even place a wall on an already built foundation but we can place the wall above that one the walls for the foundations on the side had no issue. On my game i am not allowed to do so. I m trying to build foundations and theres an area where we re expanding our house where it wont snap or even build in general saying can t place on floor. This method isnt fullproof if you run into a point where the wall from the floor on the pillar starts to clip the fence foundation it wont place if it.

I tried finding a solid link referring to this but could not but hope it helps none the less. Can t place on floor message. Has anyone come across this and is there anyway to fix it. Nov 9 2016 10 41pm.

Link to post share on other sites. Try removing the walls floors above the foundation first. On my friends server we were allowed to place walls and ramps halfway through the ground when there was a gap. It s a really wide area.

Whackingmocha8 0 posted april 5 2017. The icon is red even though it still has a snapping point. Wall is 2 thick 10 high and 50x50. But i have never had any problems placing a small chest in.

Floor plan inside is pretty big too. Got me stumped i have never expereinced that issue anyway. A foundation provides the structural support to allow the placement of walls ceilings and other such objects but only when the foundation is. I assume there is a setting i need to change in the server.

Also ran into this. Hi after a long break got into ark again and started a single player game just that i found i cant build on most place there are a lot of large zones i cant build at all why or what are these anyone any idea and if i cant do something about. The worse scenario i encountered was trying to place roof after placing a fireplace which lead to me having to rebuild the fireplace like 3times but in that case the chimney pokes out the top of the roof.
