Cat Doesnt Want To Be On The Floor
She really doesn t clean herself like she used to thus fur is becoming matted.
Cat doesnt want to be on the floor. Oh and also there is there other problem i have. Perhaps the litter has a strong scent or an annoying feel on your cat s paws. She jumps from chair back to couch and will climb stairs if absolutely necessary but doesn t want to jump down. We do have a little bit of a flea problem but im working on it and i dont think thats it.
This should be temporary until the cat gets used to the new situation. Cats want to be close to their humans and also want to be their focal point. During the day he acts his normal self. If it s covered this may bother your cat.
Or it may be in a location that your cat doesn t like. Yes it is about the fleas and the thing is that the fleas r not only biting my cat but they r also biting my feet and just my feet not anyone else s feet in my house. My cat is acting strangely all of a sudden. He sleeps eats and explores just the same but at night he is acting weird.
Cat s like choice so too few litter boxes can also be an issue. Pretty much common sense. My cat abby gets very jealous anytime i talk on the phone. Not only will my cat not want to walk on the floor but she wants me to hold her all the time like she scared by.
Don t worry my cat has suddenly become unwilling to walk on the floor. My cat climbs on everything just so she doesn t walk on the floor. Donna my cat will not walk on the floor when i set her down she acts like there s something on there and she tries to jump on something but mostly she wants me to hold her or otherwise she sits in the bathroom all day and won t go out and i have to put her food on the counter not. She will sit beside me and paw at my arm until i pay attention to her.
She acts like she doesn t want to come in the house and when she is inside for any length of time she hides. But be aware that any change to a cat s routine or environment can cause stress which may result in out of the ordinary. She continues to use her cat box has always been an inside cat but does leave 1 2 little poop balls outside her box they are not messy or runny. She was even unwilling to get on the floor to drink from her water bowl but she will jump down to eat food it s in a different place.
If another cat or animal or even a new baby has been introduced to the household or if someone has moved in moved out or moved on your cat may simply be marking its territory. For example the box may be too small for your cat to use comfortably. She won t walk on the floor just runs across it quickly and jumps up on tables or chairs. I m working on brushing her but will probably need a professional to tackle the matted fur.
This will put off your cat as they would not want to relieve themselves at a place where they eat. Is the litter box located near your cats food or where your cat drinks. All my cats like to follow me from room to room as i do chores around the house sometimes tripping me along the way to make sure i pay.
